The assembly consists of a concrete slab bearing on a four-inch gravel layer over a prepared subgrade. A sixty-mil spray-applied waterproofing membrane is applied beneath the slab, topped with a protection course and a base layer. An underslab vent system is embedded within the gravel layer. The subgrade is compacted prior to placing the gravel and drainage layers.
