The tactile exit stair sign consists of a one-foot square clear acrylic plastic front face with radius corners and painted background color on the interior face. An opaque white acrylic plastic backing sits behind the clear face, and corresponding Grade 2 braille is located directly centered under the signage information. The sign is attached to the wall using four flat-head countersunk screws and adhesive, mounted at a maximum height of sixty inches with minimum clearances specified from adjacent surfaces.
