A plastic pipe penetrates a gypsum wall assembly with an optional sleeve installed in the opening. The annular space around the pipe is sealed with Hilti FS-One Max firestop sealant in accordance with UL System W-L-2128. Permitted pipe types include up to 2-inch diameter PVC schedule 40 pipe and 2-inch diameter CPVC SDR 13.5 pipe for closed piping systems only.
