Stair treads feature a contrasting color nosing that is at least as slip-resistant as the stair treads and a minimum of two inches wide at all treads, located one inch maximum to two inches minimum from the front edge. AS-250 non-slip coating is applied along the full tread length typically, while risers remain free of non-slip coating typically. The assembly spans between the upper and lower landings.
