An internally lit exit sign features standard letter sizing with a minimum height of six inches and stroke spacing requirements of three-eighths of an inch. Letter spacing maintains a minimum of two inches, with specific margins including three-quarters of an inch minimums except for the letter 'I'. The sign connects to an emergency power system and remains continuously illuminated.
