The tactile exit sign assembly consists of a clear acrylic plastic face with radius corners and an opaque white acrylic plastic backing. The background color is painted on the interior face of the clear plastic and must contrast with the wall color. Raised characters measuring between 5/8 inch and 2 inches high and Grade 2 braille are integrated into the face. The sign is attached to the wall using four flat-head countersunk screws and adhesive. Mounting heights require a minimum of 48 inches and a maximum of 60 inches to the top of the sign.
