A six-inch standard steel pipe is set seven feet long into a concrete footing and filled solid with concrete. A concrete cap crowns the top of the pipe, and the exterior is painted safety yellow per owner coordination. Two number four reinforcing bars are welded to opposite sides of the pipe within the foundation using fillet welds. The concrete footing extends one foot eight inches in diameter and four feet below grade.
