An eight-inch wide precast reinforced concrete wheel stop is set upon asphaltic concrete paving over a base and compacted soil. The wheel stop is secured in place with two one-half inch diameter rebar dowels extending down through the paving assembly. The front face of the wheel stop is positioned at a specified offset from the line of the front of the parking stall. Clearances and specific paving design details refer to civil drawings.
