Corridor width and turning clearances are defined by minimum dimensions around an obstruction. A forty-eight inch minimum dimension applies when dimension X is less than forty-eight inches. Corridors with an occupancy load of less than nine require a forty-two inch minimum width, while corridors with an occupancy load greater than ten require a forty-four inch minimum width.
