Wheelchair turning clearances in corridors vary depending on the occupancy load and the width of the obstruction. A minimum forty-eight-inch depth is required for turns around an obstruction when the obstruction width is less than forty-eight inches. Corridors with an occupancy load of less than nine require a forty-two-inch minimum width. Corridors with an occupancy load greater than ten require a forty-four-inch minimum width.
