A plastic pipe penetrates a concrete slab over a metal deck with a minimum thickness of 2-1/2 inches. The annular space around the pipe is sealed with Hilti FS-One Max firestop sealant installed per UL System F-A-2058. Permissible pipe types include a maximum 2-inch PVC schedule 40 pipe, either cellular or solid core, and a maximum 2-inch CPVC SDR 17 pipe.
