A nonmetallic pipe penetrates a concrete floor slab with a UL-listed firestop assembly providing a two-hour F rating and a two-hour T rating. The penetration annular space is sealed with specified firestop materials installed per manufacturer instructions around the penetrating item. The assembly comprises the concrete floor slab, the penetrating pipe, and tested firestop sealants and packing materials.
