This plan detail shows the minimum accessibility clearance requirements for the front approach pull side of a door. A minimum sixty-inch approach depth is required perpendicular to the doorway. An eighteen-inch minimum clearance is required on the latch side, with an additional six inches added at the exterior side of an exterior door.
