A 400-S200-54 cold-formed steel brace is anchored to the underside of a concrete slab using a 14-gauge L4x4 bent plate measuring 16 inches long. The bent plate secures to the brace with four number 10 self-tapping sheet metal screws and fastens to the concrete slab using two 3/8-inch Hilti HIT-TZ expansion anchors requiring a minimum 2-1/2-inch embedment.
