A metal duct passes through a gypsum wall assembly, sealed at the annular space with Hilti FS-One Max, CP 601S, or CP 606 firestop sealant per UL System W-L-7042. The penetration accommodates spiral wound sheet metal duct with a minimum 24 gauge up to 20 inches in maximum diameter, or sheet metal duct with a minimum 28 gauge up to 12 inches.
