Elevator floor designation signage requires a minimum two-inch height with sign material and colors conforming to ICC/ANSI A117.1-2017 standards. The layout incorporates one-thirty-second-inch minimum raised lettering and a star symbol at level one, accompanied by a corresponding braille field below. Signage must be installed at both door jambs at each floor.
