The steel stud bottom track is anchored directly to the top of the structural concrete slab using 0.145-inch shot pins spaced at twenty-four inches on center with a maximum six-inch distance from ends per ICC schedule. Batt insulation fills the stud cavity between wall finishes attached with number 6 type S self-drilling screws. A continuous firestop sealant is applied at the floor line adjacent to the floor finish.
