The assembly is built upon a structural metal deck with spray applied fire proofing on the underside. A vapor retarder is applied directly over the fluted metal deck, followed by a minimum R-30 roof insulation layer. A single ply membrane roofing is installed above the insulation. Roof ballast is applied where required over the membrane.
