A metal pipe penetrates a one-hour rated gypsum wall assembly using Hilti FS-One Max firestop sealant installed per UL system W-L-5028. The assembly accommodates a maximum diameter of 4-inch steel pipe (Schedule 40 or heavier) or 2-inch copper pipe or tubing. AB/PVC insulation surrounds the penetrating pipe at the wall interface.
