Tactile exit signs feature raised sans-serif uppercase characters accompanied by Grade 2 Braille. Characters are raised a minimum of 1/32 inch and utilize a non-glare finish with visual contrast against the background. Sign installation height ranges from 48 inches minimum to the baseline of the lowest Braille cells, up to 60 inches maximum to the baseline of the highest tactile characters. Signs require an 18 inch clear space centered on the sign.
