Accessible front approach clearances for swinging doors require a minimum depth of sixty inches on the push side and forty-eight inches on the pull side. Side clearances require a minimum of twenty-four inches at exterior doors and eighteen inches at interior doors on the pull side, with twelve inches required on the push side. Additional clearance must be provided if the door is equipped with both a latch and a closer.
