A metal duct with a maximum dimension of 100 inches by 100 inches passes through a gypsum wall assembly. Steel retaining angles secure the penetration on both sides of the wall. Firestop sealant is applied at the penetration using Hilti FS-One Max, CP 606, or CFS-S SIL GG in accordance with UL System W-L-7155.
