An eight-inch wide precast reinforced concrete wheel stop sits upon asphalt concrete paving and base, which rests over compacted soil. The wheel stop is six feet long for two parking spaces or four feet long for one space, positioned two feet behind the line of the front of the parking stall. The unit is secured to the paving assembly with two one-half-inch diameter rebar pins. The underlying base and subgrade must be constructed per the civil drawings, with a twelve-inch minimum compacted soil depth.
