Area of refuge signage is mounted at a minimum of forty-eight inches and a maximum of sixty inches to the centerline. Braille lettering specifications include standard single braille cell spacing, blank cell spaces between words, raised dot dimensions, and minimum vertical spacing. Door swing clearances require a minimum sixty-inch turning space for both same-direction and opposite-direction door swings.
