A 6.35 mm thick steel case with one hundred percent welded construction is recessed into a solid concrete or brick wall and secured with large thick steel washers. A 16 mm solid steel plate door with a gasket and a 178 mm high hinged door flange closes over the housing. A 3.2 mm thick stainless steel lock cover features a hinge and connects a Knox tamper alert to the building fire alarm system. The unit is mounted at 152.4 mm above the ground floor.
