A P 1000 Unistrut channel spans a minimum of three flutes of a metal deck and is secured using three typical number 12 by 3/4-inch self-tapping screws per flute. A 3/8-inch Unistrut spring nut connects a 3/8-inch all-thread rod to the channel. The lower end of the threaded rod attaches to a Tolco figure 200 hanger ring supporting a maximum 1-1/4-inch pipe, with a Tolco figure 25 or tight all-thread rod connected to the pipe.
