A recessed cabinet is mounted between cold-formed metal stud framing and finished with gypsum board sheathing on both sides. The framing includes vertical metal studs with diagonal bracing channels, positioned to accommodate the cabinet housing. Fasteners secure the cabinet unit to the surrounding stud framing at equal spacings. The assembly is oriented at six feet six inches above finished floor.
