An HSS 5x5x1/4 post extends down into a concrete curb and a 12-inch by 12-inch concrete footing. The post slides into an HSS 5-1/2x5-1/2x1/4 sleeve embedded within the concrete, welded with a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld. The footing measures four feet deep with a twelve-inch width and features number 4 U-bars on each side of the embedded post alongside number 3 ties spaced at four inches on center. The concrete assembly provides a three-foot clear gate opening with a one-half inch clearance above the curb.
