A pipe penetrates a fire-rated wall assembly utilizing system number W-L-1001 for uninsulated pipe and system number W-L-5001 for insulated pipe. Damming material is installed within the wall opening around the pipe alongside pipe insulation where applicable. 3M/CP 25W/B caulk or 3M/CP 25N/S caulk is applied on both sides of the wall around the penetration.
