A pre-molded ethylene propylene diene monomer or rubber boot fits over the penetrating pipe and seals against the metal roofing assembly. The top of the boot maintains the manufacturer's rib or lip and is secured with a stainless steel clamping ring and bead of sealant. Base flashing installed by the general contractor ties into the roof assembly with approximately half-inch lap sealant and in-seam sealant. Roof construction size and location are coordinated with architectural drawings and project plans.
