A reinforced concrete loading zone curb bears on a continuous concrete footing measuring six inches in width by six inches in depth with three continuous number four longitudinal reinforcing bars. The curb stem is six inches wide by twelve inches high, reinforced with number four bars at twelve inches spacing rotated to maintain concrete cover, plus one longitudinal bar at the top, one at the bottom, and the balance spaced at twelve inches maximum with two inches of clearance. A six-inch thick concrete walk abuts the exterior face of the curb. A four-inch concrete slab connects to the interior face of the footing with an eight-inch thickened edge.
