A carrier pipe of varying size passes through a wall opening sealed by a modular mechanical type assembly consisting of interlocking rubber links and pressure plates. The annular space between the pipe and wall opening is continuously filled using Link-Seal with nitrile modular seals. Adjacent schematic piping diagrams indicate typical feed or cross mains connected via threaded tee fittings within a structural steel framing system. Threaded reducing fittings are used as required while reducing face bushings and weld-o-let style connections are prohibited on dry pipe or preaction sprinkler systems.
