A schedule 40 pipe brace connects to an existing concrete floor slab using an FM approved structural anchor and a Tolco Fig. 980 swivel sway brace fitting. The brace is installed at an angle between 45 degrees and 60 degrees with a maximum length of nine feet. The lower end attaches to the fire sprinkler pipe using a Tolco Fig. 980 swivel brace fitting with a Tolco Fig. 4A standard pipe clamp.
