Fire alarm notification appliances connect using 4S electrical boxes measuring two and one-eighth inches deep with one and one-half inch extensions. Strobe, speaker, and speaker-strobe units mount to the boxes with fasteners and wire into the circuit running from the previous device or fire alarm control panel to the next device or end of line.
