A low level fuel tank switch is mounted on the top of the fuel tank adjacent to a fuel gage and two-inch vent stacks. The vent stacks are piped to the atmosphere at a minimum of eleven feet above the top of the fuel tank elevation and fitted with a spark arrester. A one-half inch fuel line runs from the engine, with the fuel supply line installed at or above the center line of the fuel transfer pump on the diesel engine. A one-inch tank drain is provided with the tank pitched one-quarter inch per foot towards the drain.
