An adjustable figure 200 ring hanger supports fire sprinkler piping from a wood I-joist assembly. A 2x6 wood block measuring one foot long is centered on the I-joist web and fastened with twelve 12d clinch nails. A Sammy SWG200 screw anchors into the wood block, set a minimum of two and a half inches from the bottom for branch lines or three inches for main lines. A 3/8-inch figure 100 all-thread rod suspends the adjustable ring hanger from the anchor.
