An existing hollow structural section beam connects to an existing concrete wall via a new L4x4x3/8-inch by nine-inch steel angle. The angle is secured to the concrete wall with two three-quarter-inch diameter adhesive anchors spaced at six inches on center with an eight-inch effective embedment. The top of the steel angle aligns with the top of the HSS8x4 beam.
