A bare metal deck restraint assembly complies with NFPA 13, Figure A.18.6.1 (c). A fastener secures the restraint bracket through the fluted profile of the bare metal deck. The restraint strap connects to a threaded rod or wire hanger maintaining a one-and-one-half-inch clearance dimension. This configuration prevents lateral movement and seismic displacement of sprinkler piping suspended from overhead metal decking.
