A concrete pier footing measuring one foot wide accommodates an HSS 5-1/2x5-1/2x1/4 sleeve to accept an HSS 5x5x1/4 post. The concrete section is reinforced with number four ties at sixteen inches on center at the curb and number four U bars at sixteen inches on center at the pier. Additional number four U bars are placed at each end of the tie, alongside number three ties at four inches on center around the sleeve assembly with two inches of concrete clearance. Four number four angle bars at four inches on center, each face, are positioned at the top of the pier with a one-to-one slope configuration.
