A standard spray upright sprinkler mounts to a one-inch sprig-up pipe extending from a branch line. A one-inch by one-half-inch reducing coupling connects the sprinkler head to the sprig-up. The deflector maintains a vertical clearance between one inch minimum and twelve inches maximum below the roof deck.
