An early suppression fast-response sprinkler pipe is positioned with its head typical at zero feet eight inches below the deck to the center of the pipe, maintaining a twelve-inch minimum clearance from structural bridging and adjacent conduit or pipe. A three-foot-zero-inch by two-foot-zero-inch clear space zone is maintained around the sprinkler head to prevent spray pattern obstructions.
