An angle kicker brace connects to a hollow structural section member using a three-eighths-inch gusset plate secured by a three-quarter-inch diameter bolt. The hollow structural section member is capped with a one-quarter-inch plate welded with five-sixteenths-inch fillet welds. Section A-A shows the profile and clearance details of the connected angle kicker.
