An HSS 5x5x1/4 galvanized fence post with a one-fourth-inch plate cap is embedded in a concrete HSS sleeve and anchored within a reinforced concrete pier and footing. The pier is reinforced with number four U-bars at sixteen inches on center, number four ties at sixteen inches on center, number three ties at four inches on center, four number four angle bars at four inches on center each face at the top of the pier, and number four straight bars at sixteen inches on center for the balance of the pier. A concrete walk surrounds the top of the footing assembly, maintaining standard clearances around the post base.
