An upright sprinkler connects to a sprinkler pipe through a one-inch sprig up. A pipe hanger supported by a three-eighths-inch all-thread rod secures the sprinkler pipe below the overhead deck. The maximum clearance distance between the sprinkler head and the deck is twelve inches.
