The bottom view of the fiber-optics linear heat detection system panel unit installed on level one displays multiple connection ports including LAN ports and four channels for heat sensor cables. The unit links via RJ45 ethernet cables to a network switch located in the telecom demarc room on level one and onward to a personal computer at the DCEO office. An RJ45 to optical fiber convertor in the telecom demarc room facilitates optical fiber communication with other linear heat detection system panels on site.
