An Afcon AF778 universal attachment clamps directly to the bottom flange of a structural steel beam. An Afcon figure AF700 swivel sway brace connects to the universal attachment and receives a one-inch Schedule 40 brace pipe set at an angle between 45 and 59 degrees. An Afcon figure AF035 Model K lateral sway brace secures the pipe to the fire protection system piping. This assembly resists seismic and lateral loads on fire sprinkler piping systems.
