Tolco Fig. 980 sway brace attachment securing a fire protection pipe to structural support with vertical and lateral bracing. The assembly connects to the overhead structure using upper attachments and pipe clamps, maintaining a ninety degree angle for vertical hangers and a forty-five to fifty-nine degree angle for lateral braces. A maximum six inch spacing is maintained between the brace components. Braces must not be bent past ninety degrees during installation.
