An addressable smoke or heat detector head mounts to a detector base supported by a 4S deep electrical box. Wiring enters the base from the fire alarm panel or a previous addressable device, connecting data in positive to terminal one and data in negative to terminal two. Data out positive and negative lines continue from the terminals to the next addressable initiating device in the loop. An optional remote LED connects to the designated terminals on the base.
