This assembly provides an indirect waste connection for fire protection system drainage, utilizing a Zurn Z326 funnel mounted to the wall with Superstrut and Tapcon fasteners. The main drain line from the sprinkler or standpipe terminates with a 45-degree mitered cut, maintaining a minimum three-inch air gap above the funnel. The funnel connects to a vertical pipe extending 30 inches above the finish floor, which terminates in a P-trap. Drain pipe sizing is specified as four inches for inspector's test lines, and six inches for sprinkler riser drains or standpipe drains discharging into a floor drain.
