An equipment cabinet is anchored for seismic loads against a framed wall and concrete over metal deck floor. The wall assembly consists of steel studs fastened with two number ten sheet metal screws to each sixteen gauge minimum wall stud, engaging a minimum of three studs for a total of six screws. The top of the cabinet attaches to a manufacturer seismic kit bracket secured with three-metre VHB tape and an anchor bolt connected to a channel strut at the wall on each end. The bottom of the cabinet is secured with a manufacturer seismic kit floor bracket attached via three-metre VHB tape to the side wall and a three-eighths inch diameter stainless steel expansion anchor with a two-inch embedment at each end of the cabinet.
